Asics Gel Nimbus 12 Review
Not many running shoes can brag the cushioning features that the Asics Gel Nimbus 12 can. Its features heavily benefit the Neutrals and Under Pronators with its supreme cushioning and stability qualities. In this review i will go over the most important features and ones you need to know if your considering buying this running shoe.
To start the cushioning features off i will mention the materials which make the Asics Gel Nimbus 12. The Asics Gel Nimbus 12 is made with two main materials on the outsole and that is lightweight synthetic leather and extremely breathable mesh making it a very lucractive running shoe. The leather added alone will put it at the top of the heap for cushioning and the mesh is of the highest quality found, this makes it a extremely enjoyable run.
An Asymmetrical Lacing System also ensures your foot fits into the running shoe smoothly and naturally because it's made to suit the natural slant of the foot. Since it's built this way its reduces the chances of irritation and also makes it much more comfortable on the bone and top of the feet.
On the inside there is a removable comfor dry sockliner made of the strongest and softest materials. This sockliner is well padded giving you the finest cushioning currenly available on the market and making the runs easier to do. This sockliner also holds a nifty material which actually gets rid of bacteria and moisture creating a much cooler, drier and healthier environment for your feet.
The first exeptional stability feature of the Asics Gel Nimbus 12 is the Impact Guidance System (I.G.S) which is actually a stability feature meant to provide your feet with the most natural movements possible from heel strike from toe off. The feet go through around seven stages when it comes to running and this system helps to make it as smooth as possible. You can feel the difference compared to other trainers because your feet tend to move less and also feel as though they are being helped by the balance of the Impact Guidance System.
The second stability feature to get mentioned is the Space Trussic System which again helps foot functioning drastically. What it does is create a space between the Midsole and the bottom of the trainer. Having this causes greater midsole deformation making your feet feel more natural because there will be more space on the sole for it to adapt to the changing conditions.
While i may have mentioned the midsole already i've got to have a paragraph on the molded midsole component which is actually engineered for specific foot types. The cradle which it's held in actually enchances the guidance and fit of the feet causing a more stable and proficient run because it's gender engineered.
